TransferAbout this transfer
The bus departs from the Ushuaia terminal at 7:00 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The route passes through Rio Grande, where additional passengers will board; however, it is not permitted to disembark at this stop.
The journey continues toward Chile, with a stop at the border for immigration procedures on both the Argentine and Chilean sides. Please note that there are SENASA and SAG inspections at the border, and certain food items, such as sausages, fruits, and others, are strictly prohibited.
Once border formalities are complete, the bus proceeds to the Strait of Magellan, where passengers will transfer to the ferry for the crossing. The ferry ride lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Before boarding the ferry, and if the facility is open, you may have the opportunity to purchase items. It is recommended to bring cash in case you wish to buy something during the border stop.
Passengers are required to arrive at the meeting point (Ushuaia Terminal, Fadul and Maipú) by 6:30 am.
