Tour Description


DAY 1. LIMA: Arrive in Lima and enjoy a private transfer with a driver to your hotel. Overnight stay.


DAY 2. LIMA / CUSCO: Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Begin your tour at the fascinating Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre district, showcasing over 5000 ceramic pieces, as well as gold, silver, and pre-Columbian erotic art.

Next, explore the historic center by visiting Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion rich with art and history. Continue to the Plaza de Armas, where you'll see the Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, and other significant colonial buildings. Visit the Cathedral, built in the 16th century.

Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.


DAY 3. CUSCO: After breakfast at the hotel, start your afternoon tour at the Temple of the Sun, known as Koricancha. This site exemplifies the fusion of Incan and Spanish cultures, with Santo Domingo’s Church and its convent constructed on its base.

Next, visit the Cathedral in the Main Square to admire beautiful religious paintings from the Cusco School. The tour continues at Sacsayhuaman, an impressive archaeological site known for its massive carved stones, constructed over 70 years by more than 20,000 men.

Proceed to Qenqo, a sacred temple where the Incas worshipped their gods, including the Sun, Moon, and Earth. Explore its underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater.

Continue to Puca Pucara, known as the “Red Fortress” due to its reddish walls, and then visit Tambomachay, a water worship center with aqueducts and waterfalls. Conclude the tour at El Regocijo Square, near Plaza de Armas. Overnight stay.


DAY 4. CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / AGUAS CALIENTES: After breakfast, depart from Cusco to Pisac, known for its vibrant market and archaeological stone temples with breathtaking valley views.

Continue to Urubamba for a delightful buffet lunch, then proceed to Ollantaytambo, a site with significant Inca history featuring military, religious, and agricultural elements.

After this enriching experience, head to Ollantaytambo’s train station for the Train Expedition to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and meet with your guide to plan your Machu Picchu visit the next day. Overnight stay.


DAY 5. AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO: Begin your day with breakfast, then board the bus to Machu Picchu, enjoying stunning views of the Urubamba River and canyon.

The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will captivate you with its terraces, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. After a guided tour, you’ll have time to explore further or return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (optional).

At the scheduled time, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus to Cusco. Overnight at your centrally located hotel. Overnight stay.


DAY 6. CUSCO / RAINBOW MOUNTAIN VINICUNCA / CUSCO: Early morning pickup at 3:30 a.m. from your Cusco hotel. Embark on a 3.5-hour journey through breathtaking desert landscapes and snow-capped peaks, with sightings of alpaca herds.

Upon reaching the trailhead, enjoy a hot breakfast before the 4-hour uphill hike from Chillihuani at 4,200 meters above sea level.

Along the way, take in the stunning Andean landscapes, glacial peaks, and the Red Valley, with llamas and alpacas grazing by. At the summit, discover the majestic Rainbow Mountain and spot Andean wildlife such as the vicuña, known for its valuable wool.

Enjoy ample time for photos and relaxation at high altitudes, with views of the Ausangate Mountain, the tallest in Cusco.

Learn about the geological history and vibrant colors of the mountain from your guide.

After capturing memorable photos, begin the 2-hour descent and meet your transport to a local restaurant for a hot lunch.

Return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m., and transfer back to your hotel.


DAY 7. CUSCO / PUNO: Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to the bus station for a scenic journey to the south valley, stopping first at Andahuaylillas, located at 3,093 meters.

This charming town features the 17th-century Sistine Chapel, adorned with gold leaf and Cusco School paintings.

Travel for 1.5 hours to the archaeological site of Raqchi, located at 3,450 meters. Discover the temple of Wiracocha, with its impressive walls, aqueducts, and tombs.

Continue to Sicuani for a buffet lunch, offering local and regional dishes.

After lunch, travel to La Raya Pass at 4,335 meters, the border between Cusco and Puno, to admire snow-capped mountains and landscapes.

Visit the Museum of Pucara to explore monoliths, stone sculptures, and ceramics from the Pucara culture.

Finally, continue to Puno, arriving at the bus station for your hotel transfer. Overnight stay.


DAY 8. PUNO: After breakfast, transfer to Puno’s lake port. Board a boat to the floating islands of the Uros, an ancient society living on islands made of totora reeds.

The islands are crafted by weaving the totora where it grows thick and forming a natural foundation. Houses and cooking areas are also built from totora.

Next, take a boat trip to the island of Taquile, where Quechua-speaking residents preserve Inca heritage. Participate in a cultural activity after a brief island introduction.

After lunch, return to Puno’s port and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.


DAY 9. PUNO / LIMA: Enjoy breakfast, then depart for Sillustani, 34 km from Puno. Explore this pre-Inca cemetery with its iconic funeral towers. Visit local communities to learn about their lifestyle.

Proceed to Juliaca Airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.


DAY 10. LIMA / OUT: Enjoy a day at leisure before transferring to the airport for your international flight.
