Tour Description

Day 1 – Arrival and First City Tour

Upon your arrival at El Dorado Airport, a dedicated driver will be waiting to provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Bogotá. Once you have checked in and had a brief rest, your adventure begins with the Hop-On Hop-Off Tourist Bus, which operates in two schedules: morning (9:00 AM) and afternoon (2:00 PM).

If your flight is scheduled in the morning, we recommend joining the afternoon tour. The nearest pick-up point may vary depending on your hotel’s location, but the flexible service allows you to board at any of the 12 stops throughout the city. On your first day, we suggest staying on for the full circuit without getting off, which is perfect for getting an overview of Bogotá from a panoramic vantage point.

This approximately 4-hour tour will introduce you to the contrasts of the city: from the modern sophistication of Zona T and Parque de la 93 to the colonial charm of the historic center. Along the way, you’ll discover iconic sites such as:

International Center, featuring contemporary architecture and renowned theaters.
Plaza de Mercado La Concordia, one of the most authentic markets for locals in Bogotá.
Monserrate, famous for its sanctuary and stunning panoramic views (you can visit the same day or postpone until the following day, depending on your arrival and departure times).

At the end of the tour (with the last stop around 6:00 p.m. at Parque de la 93), you can choose to stay in this lively area for dinner at one of its many restaurants or terrace bars—an ideal way to conclude your day with delicious food and a relaxed ambiance.

Return to your hotel independently or by taxi (safe and readily available in this area).

Day 2 – Free Exploration and Departure

After breakfast, you’ll have additional time to keep exploring the city with your still-valid hop-on hop-off bus ticket. Today, take the opportunity to spend more time at the places that piqued your interest from the previous day.

A great way to start is by visiting Monserrate Hill, where you can walk, take the funicular, or ride the cable car for breathtaking views of Bogotá (Monserrate ticket not included). You might also visit the Gold Museum, stroll through the cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, or experience the vibrant atmosphere at Chorro de Quevedo, the city’s founding square, now a gathering spot for artisans, students, and Bogotá’s cultural diversity.

At the agreed time, a private transfer will collect you from your hotel and take you to El Dorado Airport for your return flight—leaving you with the satisfaction of having discovered Bogotá at your own pace, even in a short visit.
