- Day 1 – Arrival in Medellín and panoramic city tour by chiva
Upon landing at Medellín airport, a private transfer will take you directly to your accommodation in the city. After settling in, an exciting afternoon awaits you to start your journey of discovery with a panoramic tour aboard a chiva, the iconic and colorful traditional Colombian bus, providing an unforgettable introduction to your experience.
The tour begins at Parque del Poblado and will take you to renowned sites such as the Parque de los Pies Descalzos, where you can enjoy a unique sensory experience as you walk over stone, sand, and water. You will continue to Plaza Botero, an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale sculptures by the renowned Fernando Botero, and then visit the innovative Metrocable. This cable car connects the hillsides of the city, offering aerial views that highlight the fascinating contrast between the old and new Medellín.
