The Fortaleza and Jericoacoara package offers seven nights in a hotel, excursions with hotel transfers, and IN/OUT airport transfers, as well as transfers between these captivating locations.

Tour Description

Day 1: Arrival in Fortaleza

Upon your arrival at Fortaleza airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your chosen hotel, conveniently situated in the city center. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure, whether you choose to unwind at your hotel or explore the vibrant city surroundings.

Day 2: City Tour

Experience the essence of Fortaleza with our comprehensive two and a half hour tour, visiting the city's most iconic attractions.

We start by collecting guests from their hotels and proceed to Beira Mar Avenue, where you can browse the local craft fair, admire the statue of Iracema, and explore the charming neighborhood of Mucuripe, home to its historic port.

Our journey continues to the renowned Future Beach and the exclusive Aldeota district, where you’ll discover the stylish Avenida Dom Luís, Plaza Portugal, and the quaint Church of Our Lady of Lebanon. We'll also visit the mausoleum of former president Castelo Branco. Next, we head to the lively Iracema Beach area, celebrated for its romantic ambiance.

We’ll pause at the iconic English Bridge, also known as the Metallic Bridge, and visit the Dragão do Mar Center for Art and Culture, as well as the city's historic center. Here, you can explore the Central Handicraft Market, Fort Schonemborch, the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral of Fortaleza, Paseo Público, the train station, and the old prison, now a craft center.

Finally, we’ll return you to your hotel, concluding our thorough exploration of Fortaleza.

Day 3: Transfer to Jericoacoara

We will pick you up from your Fortaleza hotel for a transfer to the charming town of Jericoacoara, situated 300 km away.

Upon arrival in Jericoacoara, we’ll escort you to your selected hotel, leaving the rest of the day for you to discover this captivating town.

Recommended: travel with 1 medium-sized suitcase and 1 carry-on bag per person, avoiding bulky hard-shell luggage for greater comfort and security.

Jericoacoara is a year-round sun and beach destination with warm temperatures (25–32°C) and pleasant water. The dry season runs from July to December, with clear skies ideal for dune excursions and sunsets at Duna do Pôr do Sol. From February to May, it rains more, though this is often interspersed with sunny spells. The lagoons (Lagoa do Paraíso, Lagoa Azul) are at their fullest between June and September. Between August and November, there are consistent winds, perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing. High season: July/August, the end of the year, and Carnival; it's advisable to book in advance.
