Tour Description

Arrival in Puno

DAY 1. Upon your arrival at Juliaca airport, we will transport you to your hotel located in the heart of Puno city. The rest of the day is free for you to acclimatize. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring a traditional dance show. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Floating Islands of Uros and Amantaní Island

DAY 2. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning (07:30 am), we will transfer you to the Puno port to board a boat that will take us to explore the Floating Islands of Uros. This unique community resides on islands made of totora reeds. You will discover their fascinating customs and history.

We will then proceed to Amantaní Island, where you will stay with a local family. After lunch, visit the ceremonial site Pacha Tata and witness a stunning sunset. Dinner will be with the villagers, and you may participate in mystical ceremonies if you choose. Overnight stay at a local home.

Taquile Island

DAY 3. Have breakfast with the host family. We will set out early to explore Taquile Island, where you can admire exquisite local crafts and enjoy lunch with the island's residents.

This island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will head back to the Puno port and then transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Departure from Puno

DAY 4. After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart towards Juliaca airport. On the way, we will stop to visit the Chullpas of Sillustani, an ancient burial ground with circular towers where over 4,000 people were laid to rest.

We will also meet local inhabitants in the area. Continuing our journey, we will arrive at Juliaca Airport for your onward flight.
