Your adventure continues through the breathtaking mountains of Cusco, with visits to the spectacular Sacred Valley and the enchanting Machu Picchu.


Complete your tour by exploring Puno and the famous Lake Titicaca, followed by a visit to the charming white city of Arequipa.


Tour Description


DAY 1. LIMA: Arrival in Lima and private transfer with driver only to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2. LIMA / PUERTO MALDONADO: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado.

Upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado Airport, enjoy a brief city tour before heading to "Puerto Capitanía" to board a motor boat for a 2-hour journey into the jungle.

Arrive at the lodge, settle in, and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on an expedition to Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon home to many black and white caimans. Experience a breathtaking sunset and the vibrant colors of the jungle sky.

Return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.

DAY 3. PUERTO MALDONADO: One of the highlights of staying in the jungle is waking up to the sounds of nature. After breakfast, embark on a hike deep into the rainforest, passing through the flooded forest to reach the majestic Lake Apu Victor, known for its stunning landscapes and crystal-clear waters.

Climb the Amazon viewpoint to admire the beauty of the Peruvian jungle and its rich flora and fauna. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Monkey Island, located in the heart of the Madre de Dios River.

During the walk, observe various monkey species and other wildlife. Enjoy another gorgeous sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 4. PUERTO MALDONADO / CUSCO: After breakfast, return to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure. Overnight.

DAY 5. CITY TOUR CUSCO.

Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll pick you up from your hotel to begin a half-day tour, starting with a visit to the Coricancha Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, famous for its former wealth of gold.

Next, visit the Cusco Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas, where you can admire beautiful religious paintings from the Cusco School.

The tour continues to the impressive archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, with its massive, perfectly fitted stone walls. Afterwards, visit the sacred temple of Qenqo, where the Incas worshipped deities such as the Sun, Moon, and Earth.

Proceed to the military complex of Puca Pucara, known as the “Red Fortress” because of its distinctive color, and then to the water temple of Tambomachay, which features aqueducts and waterfalls fed by nearby springs.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at El Regocijo Square, just one block from Plaza de Armas. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 6. CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / CUSCO: Breakfast at your hotel. You will be picked up for a scenic 30 km drive to Pisac, home to a vibrant market and remarkable stone-built archaeological sites with panoramic views of the valley and impressive Inca terraces.

Continue on to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch, then proceed to Ollantaytambo. This site served as an Inca military, religious, and agricultural center, featuring breathtaking views and over a hundred Inca terraces with advanced irrigation canals.

Visit Chinchero, known for its colorful Inca market filled with traditional crafts such as ceramics and Andean textiles. After your visit, you will be transferred to El Regocijo Square in Cusco. Overnight.

DAY 7. CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO: Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco for private transport to Poroy train station. Board the train for a scenic journey of just over 3 hours to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, take the bus to the entrance of the remarkable Machu Picchu Citadel.

Enjoy a guided 2-hour tour of this iconic archaeological site, known as the Lost City of the Incas. Marvel at the diverse local flora and fauna, including orchids, tree forests, and the “Gallito de las Rocas,” Peru’s national bird.

Use your free time to explore Machu Picchu, take photos, or, for the adventurous, climb Huayna Picchu (optional). “Huayna Picchu,” or “Young Mountain,” rises to 2,700 meters above sea level and offers a challenging but rewarding climb.

After your day at Machu Picchu, return to Aguas Calientes train station at the scheduled time to board the train back to Poroy, then transfer by private vehicle to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 8. CUSCO / PUNO: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the bus station. Board the tourist bus for a scenic drive through the south valley, making the first stop at Andahuaylillas (3,093 meters above sea level).

This charming Andean town boasts a 17th-century architectural gem known as the Sistine Chapel, adorned with golden leaf and Cusco School paintings.

The journey continues to the archaeological site of Raqchi (3,450 meters above sea level), home to the Wiracocha Temple, built beside the Vilcanota River in the 15th century, complete with ancient walls, aqueducts, and tombs.

The tour proceeds to Sicuani for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant offering regional delicacies, vegetables, desserts, and traditional drinks like mate de coca.

After lunch, a 40-minute drive takes you to La Raya Pass (4,335 meters above sea level), the highest point of the journey and the border between Cusco and Puno. Stop to admire the snow-capped Chimboya and capture scenic photos.

The last stop is the Museum of Pucara, featuring an impressive collection of monoliths, stone sculptures, and ceramics from the Pucara culture of the highlands.

Finally, board the tourist bus for the last two hours to the city of Puno.

Arrival at Puno bus station and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 9. PUNO: After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the lake port of Puno. Board a regular boat to visit the floating Uros Islands. The Uros are an ancient society living on artificial islands made from totora reeds, which grow in the lake. Their homes and even their kitchens are constructed from these reeds, with outdoor cooking to prevent fires.

After visiting Uros, enjoy a 90-minute boat ride to Taquile Island. Unlike other islands on the lake, Taquile is Quechua-speaking and was once part of the Inca Empire, with remnants of this culture still visible today.

Upon arrival, receive a brief introduction to the island and witness a local cultural activity. After lunch, return by boat to Puno port, where your transfer will take you back to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 10. PUNO / AREQUIPA: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Arequipa (6.5 hours). Arrival in Arequipa and transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon and overnight stay.

DAY 11. AREQUIPA: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free morning for relaxation or personal activities. In the afternoon, transfer from your hotel to the colonial San Lazaro district, the site where Arequipa was founded.

Next, visit the Main Square, renowned as one of Peru’s most beautiful plazas, alongside the impressive Arequipa Cathedral, originally built in the 17th century and reconstructed after several earthquakes. Visit the Cathedral and the Church of the Compañía de Jesús (1590), a prime example of local baroque architecture, featuring exceptional paintings and murals.

Continue to the Santa Catalina Monastery, an authentic medieval cloister built in 1579 and still active today. Afterwards, visit the Yanahuara and Carmen Alto districts for panoramic countryside views.

Explore the Cayma district, visiting the Plaza Mayor and the San Miguel Arcángel de Cayma Church, home to an anonymous collection of paintings depicting the Virgin’s miracles. Return to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 12. AREQUIPA / LIMA: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Larco Museum with a knowledgeable local guide via shared transport.

Begin your visit to the museum’s extensive collection, featuring more than 50,000 ancient Peruvian ceramics, glittering jewelry, and detailed Moche portrait vessels. Discover ceramics from the ancient Inca, Nazca, and Chancay cultures.

After your cultural experience, dine in the museum’s elegant restaurant, enjoying the ambiance and beautifully landscaped gardens. Savor a freshly prepared pisco sour and sample regional culinary specialties.

After dinner, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 13. LIMA / OUT: Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your international departure.
