Tour Description

DAY 1.

Upon your arrival in the city of Chiclayo, our driver will pick you up from the airport or bus station to take you to the hotel located in the city center.

Later in the afternoon, we will begin this interesting tour by visiting the Paseo de las Musas, a place for unforgettable family moments and to enjoy a nice stroll.

This urban park, built between 1994 and 1995, hosts various squares surrounded by beautiful gardens and flowers, as well as sculptures of 9 muses from Greek mythology made by the sculptor Miguel Ángel Díaz Dávila.

The tour in Chiclayo continues until we reach the Main Park since it does not have a Plaza de Armas because it was not a battle site. Here you will have panoramic views of shopping centers, the old cinema, as well as the impressive Cathedral.

The Cathedral of Chiclayo, or Santa María Cathedral, began its construction in 1869 and ended in 1939 due to lack of funds. The design is by Gustavo Eiffel and is in neoclassical style.

We will continue the tour to the Municipal Palace. This historical monument from the republican era features temporary photography exhibitions in its beautiful halls.

We will conclude the excursion by visiting the Witchcraft Market of Chiclayo, where you can find everything, including products related to witchcraft, as shamanism is widely practiced in Peru to heal illnesses, lovesickness, the evil eye, bindings, etc.

You will have time to stroll through this curious place, and then we will take you back to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2.

Embark on an archaeological adventure with our exclusive tour of the Túcume Pyramids and Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum.

Explore the mysterious archaeological complex of Túcume, located just 30 kilometers north of the city. Known as the valley of the pyramids, this place will leave you amazed with its 26 truncated adobe pyramids surrounding the majestic La Raya hill. These pyramids witnessed the ancient Lambayeque, Chimú, and Inca cultures, each leaving their mark on this fascinating site.

Explore the remarkable area of Huaca Larga, which developed over 500 years, spanning entire generations. Here lies the impressive Temple of the Sacred Stone, which belonged to the Inca period and houses the funerary remains of an important ruler.

Next, we will head to the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, an optional visit that will transport you to a world of splendor and wealth. This magnificent museum, inspired by the truncated pyramids of the Moche culture, exhibits an impressive collection of artifacts discovered in the tombs of the most important rulers of the time, such as the legendary Lord of Sipán. Gold, ceramics, and meticulously crafted attire await you in the halls of this fascinating archaeological museum.

After completing this incredible tour, we will take you back to your hotel in the city. The rest of the afternoon is free, and overnight stay.

DAY 3.

We will begin by learning about the history at the impressive archaeological complex of Huaca Rajada. Here, you will be transported centuries back as you explore the tomb that safeguarded the renowned Lord of Sipán, the ancient ruler of the Mochica culture from the third century. This is your opportunity to witness up close the legacy of a fascinating pre-Columbian civilization that flourished on the northern coast of Peru.

The Moche culture will captivate your senses with its highly recognized art and architecture. Immerse yourself in a world of mystery and splendor as you discover the wonders found at the heart of this ancient civilization. The Lord of Sipán, a revered archaeological icon, will fascinate you with his history and the mysteries that still endure.

The Lord of Sipán was a Moche ruler who lived over 1,500 years ago in what is now northern Peru. His discovery in the richest tomb in Latin America revolutionized the field of archaeology and revealed a unique vision of the ancient Moche civilization.

After enjoying this incredible experience at Huaca Rajada, we will take you to another highlight: the Site Museum at Huaca Rajada. Here, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the treasures and artifacts related to the Lord of Sipán and the Moche culture. Experts will guide you through the history and significance of each piece, revealing fascinating details about the life and beliefs of this ancient civilization.
