This 1-week itinerary invites you to explore the capital of Argentina and the wine capital of Argentina: Mendoza. You'll begin your adventure in the ever-vibrant city of Buenos Aires, proceed to Mendoza, where you'll stay at one of the area's most exclusive lodges, and conclude back in Buenos Aires to immerse yourself in its dynamic nightlife and rich cultural scene.
Tour Description
Planned Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Buenos Aires.
Welcome and transfer to your chosen hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 2 - Morning guided city tour.
Experience the most comprehensive tour of Buenos Aires. Explore the city by bus, visiting neighborhoods such as Recoleta, Palermo Forest, downtown, San Telmo, La Boca, and Puerto Madero.
Discover key landmarks including the Colon Theatre, The Obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, and Caminito. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 3 - Enjoy breakfast. Transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore. Overnight in Mendoza.
Day 4 - Morning departure to the Luján de Cuyo or Maipú Region, located 20 km from Mendoza city, with a guide to explain the origins of Mendoza's wine industry. At the first winery, enjoy a guided tour to learn about the wine production process, followed by a wine tasting. Continue the tour with your guide to another selected winery for more tastings and production insights. Lunch will be served at the restaurant of one of the wineries, featuring a gourmet menu paired with wines from the estate. Conclude the day with a visit to a third winery. Overnight in Mendoza.
Day 5 - Enjoy a free morning and in the afternoon, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 6 - Free day. Dinner/Tango show in the evening. At around 8 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel for a visit to a traditional tango house. Once seated, enjoy a fantastic dinner featuring a selection of gourmet dishes, both national and international. At approximately 10 pm, a captivating tango show begins, featuring live music by exquisite tango orchestras and captivating performances by dance couples. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 7 - Free day. (Optional: Morning excursion to the Tigre Delta). Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 8 - Transfer to the airport.
