Tour Description

Day 1. Arrival in Buenos Aires
Based on your flight schedule, a driver will be waiting at the airport to transfer us to our centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires. After checking in, you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore the city at your leisure.
Day 2. City Tour
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 9 AM, you will be picked up from your central hotel.
Our tour is the most comprehensive city tour of Buenos Aires. This excursion will let us discover the city as we travel by bus through neighborhoods like Recoleta, the Palermo Forests, the downtown area, San Telmo, La Boca, and Puerto Madero. On this journey, you will see significant city landmarks including the Teatro Colón, El Obelisco, La Plaza de Mayo, and Caminito.
Day 3. Sailing the Tigre
Between approximately 8:45 and 9:30 AM, a comfortable bus will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Tigre, where you will board a catamaran for a 40-minute tour of the Delta. You'll witness rivers and streams that intertwine to form numerous islands and observe the local lifestyle, watching how people interact with floating services such as boats, rafts, and water taxis.
After the boat ride, you'll return to the port and board the bus back to Buenos Aires.

Day 4 - Free Day
Enjoy a free day to explore the city, relax at the hotel, or book optional excursions from the program.
Day 5 - Arrival in San Carlos de Bariloche
In the morning, after breakfast, we will pick you up to transfer you to the Buenos Aires airport (Aeroparque) for your flight to Bariloche.
Upon arrival, a vehicle will meet you at the airport to take you to your hotel, leaving you the remainder of the day and night to explore the city as you wish.
Days 6 and 7 - Free Days
Enjoy these days at your leisure to tour the city, make use of the hotel amenities, or book additional excursions from the program.
Day 8 - Andean Crossing, Arrival in Puerto Varas
Today, you'll cross the Andes Mountains in a unique way, following the path of explorers from 100 years ago. You'll enjoy breathtaking landscapes, excellent cuisine, and captivating stories and legends.
During this crossing, you'll visit Puerto Pañuelo, Puerto Blest, Lake Frías and Puerto Frías, Cerro Tronador, Peulla, Lake Todos los Santos, Saltos del Petrohué, Lake Llanquihue, and finally, you'll arrive in the city of Puerto Varas.
Day 9 - Frutillar and Llanquihue
We will start our day departing from Puerto Varas towards Lake Llanquihue, the country's second-largest lake. From there, we will visit the charming city of Frutillar, founded by German settlers who established farms near the bay for agricultural purposes.
We'll explore landscapes, Lake Llanquihue, and the architecture of Frutillar Bajo. You'll learn about local culture, sample foods, and view volcanoes. We'll travel the Llanquihue, Frutillar, and Puerto Octay Route, discovering towns, stories of German settlers, Lake Llanquihue, and its pastries. Experience country life, see gardens, houses, and tea rooms, and visit the Lake Theater and the German Museum.
Day 10 - Arrival in Santiago de Chile
After breakfast at the hotel, a driver will take us to Puerto Montt Airport for our domestic flight to Santiago. Upon arrival, we will be picked up at Santiago Airport and transported to our chosen hotel, leaving the rest of the day free to explore the city.
Day 11 - Santiago City Tour by Vehicle
After breakfast at the hotel, at 9 AM, we will be picked up for a tour highlighting the most important areas of Santiago de Chile, including historical, commercial, and residential zones.
Upon booking, you can select the option to explore Santiago de Chile, or opt for a special tour that includes a guided visit to Cerro Santa Lucía.
We will take a panoramic tour of the Government Palace "La Moneda," the historic center at Plaza de Armas, Cerro Santa Lucía, the Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Municipality, and the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista, among other highlights. This excursion is perfect for seeing the main attractions of the city.
Day 12 - Departure from Santiago de Chile
After breakfast at the hotel, a driver will pick you up to take you to Santiago de Chile airport for your return home or to continue with your travel plans.

Puerto Varas has a temperate, rainy climate year-round; pack a raincoat. Santiago, Chile, has a Mediterranean climate: hot, dry summers and cool winters; the grape harvest takes place in March–April.
