Tour Description
Day 01: Arrival in Bariloche
Upon arrival at Bariloche Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel with a Spanish-speaking guide.
Accommodation: Stay at a selected hotel in standard rooms with breakfast included for 3 nights.
Day 02: Small Circuit Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in central Bariloche and head to Playa Bonita, located 8 km from the city, where you can admire Huemul Island.
Traveling an additional 10 kilometers, we'll arrive at Cerro Campanario, which features a chairlift that ascends to 1050 meters. From the top, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, the El Trébol lagoon, the San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, and the Otto, López, Goye, and Catedral hills, as well as the city of Bariloche.
The excursion continues to the magnificent Hotel Llao Llao and the charming San Eduardo Chapel, both architectural treasures of the area. You'll also see the golf courses and the Angostura bridge over the river connecting lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, leading to Bahía López, nestled at the base of the namesake hill. Beyond the bay, a Panoramic Point awaits: a natural balcony offering a splendid view of Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula.
As we continue, you'll skirt Lake Moreno and cross a charming bridge that guides you along the shore of El Trébol lagoon. At kilometer 45, the route loops back. As dusk descends over the Andes mountain range, we return to the port and transport you back to your hotel.
Day 03: Excursion to Cerro Tronador
Bariloche
We'll start early, picking you up from your hotel in Bariloche's center to journey towards Lagos Gutiérrez and Mascardi. Following the lakes' shores, we'll take a dirt path to reach Cerro Tronador. Crossing the Manso River bridge, we'll proceed to Pampa Linda, pausing for lunch and rest.
Our adventure continues through a beech and coihue forest, leading to the trail's end where the spectacular Manso Glacier, or Black Glacier, can be seen.
Descending to the base of Cerro Tronador, you'll have the chance to view the three renowned peaks: Argentina at 3410 m, International at 3554 m, and Chile at 3474 m.
We'll retrace our route over the Río Manso Bridge to visit the Larches Waterfalls.
Following the shore of Lake Gnats and the Manso River to reach Lake Hess, we'll cross the Rock River, where the road concludes. Here, we'll disembark and walk about 300 meters to a viewpoint overlooking the stunning waterfall.

Frequently Asked Questions
This Classic Bariloche tour typically includes round-trip transportation from centrally located hotels in San Carlos de Bariloche, a bilingual (Spanish/English) tour guide, and a panoramic tour of the Circuito Chico (Small Circuit). You'll visit and photograph viewpoints overlooking Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno, Playa Bonita, the Panoramic Viewpoint, and the area surrounding the iconic Llao Llao Hotel and Puerto Pañuelo. There is usually free time for coffee, hot chocolate, or craft beer. Lunch, beverages, entrance fees, local taxes, and gratuities are not included. The chairlift/cable car ride to Cerro Campanario is optional and costs extra. Transfers outside the city center and personal expenses are not included.
The Circuito Chico is a classic Bariloche tour. The tour typically lasts 4 to 5 hours, with departures in the morning or afternoon. The route follows the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi along Avenida Ezequiel Bustillo, passing by Playa Bonita and several viewpoints. A highlight is Cerro Campanario (optional chairlift ride) for 360° views of Nahuel Huapi National Park. The tour then continues to Punto Panorámico, the Llao Llao Hotel area, San Eduardo Chapel, and Puerto Pañuelo. The route may vary depending on weather, traffic, or season, with safety and the best photography experience always prioritized.
The meeting point and transfers are usually included for hotels located in the city center of San Carlos de Bariloche. If your accommodation is outside this area, a convenient meeting point, such as the Civic Center, will typically be assigned. Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed on your voucher: mornings around 8:30–9:30; afternoons around 2:00–3:00 PM. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early at the lobby or designated meeting point with your ID and digital voucher. Services are provided in licensed tourist vehicles and with regular groups; private options may also be available upon request.
To fully enjoy your Patagonian excursion, pack layers of clothing, a waterproof and windproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. In winter, add gloves and a thermal layer; the weather can change quickly. The best time to do the Circuito Chico is year-round: summer offers long days and stunning lakes; autumn brings red and gold forests; winter adds snow-capped peaks; and spring brings blooming flowers. Bring cash or a card for the optional ascent to Cerro Campanario and for purchases at chocolate shops or cafes. Don't forget your camera or smartphone with a fully charged battery.
You can securely book the Bariloche Clásico tour online. Credit cards and other common electronic payment methods are accepted; confirmation will be sent via email with your voucher. Prices are per person and may vary depending on the season, availability, and whether you choose regular or private service; reduced rates for children often apply. The cancellation policy is flexible: in many cases, you can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24-48 hours in advance; after that time, penalties may apply. In the event of severe weather or closures due to wind/snow (e.g., at Cerro Campanario), the operator will reschedule the activity or offer alternatives and refunds as appropriate.
