You will have the opportunity to explore nearly untouched regions, breathtaking scenery, and savor the exquisite cuisine of the area, where the culture, flavors, and aromas of the southern hemisphere come together, offering that distinctive Patagonian experience for all your senses.
In this 4-day and 3-night package, you'll visit Punta Arenas, Chile's southernmost city. From here, we will set out to explore various areas, and even enjoy a penguin encounter on Magdalena Island.

Tour Description
DAY 1: Transfer from Airport to Hotel in Punta Arenas
Upon arrival at Punta Arenas International Airport, a driver will be ready at the designated time to transport you to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore the city at your leisure.
DAY 2: Explore Punta Arenas
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 9:30 AM, embark on a city tour. We'll visit the Plaza de Armas and explore stunning structures like the residence of José Braun Menéndez, offering insights into the lives of early 20th-century pioneers, and the Salesian Museum Maggiorino Borgatello (closed on Mondays), which features collections of native flora, fauna, and artifacts from the Patagonian indigenous people. Next, we’ll head to Costanera Avenue and the Regional Cemetery, known for its picturesque gardens. Our final stop will be the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of Punta Arenas' colorful houses, the Strait of Magellan, Tierra de Fuego Island, and Dawson Island.
We'll return to the hotels around 1 PM.
DAY 3: Excursion to Magdalena Island
We will gather at 6:30 AM at our meeting point to depart for the Laredo Bay pier and set sail to Magdalena Island. After a two-hour journey, we will reach Magdalena Island, home to the Los Pingüinos Natural Monument. Here, over 120,000 Magellanic penguins, along with numerous birds and sea lions, reside. We will disembark to stroll along paths from the coast to the island's highest point, observing the penguins and their nests up close. At the summit, the Environmental Interpretation Center and Lighthouse await, where you can climb the steep stairs for a spectacular view of Magdalena Island and the Strait of Magellan.
We will return to Punta Arenas by 1 PM.
DAY 4: Transfer from Hotel in Punta Arenas to Airport
Based on our flight schedule, enjoy free time for last-minute shopping or further city exploration. At the prearranged time, our driver will pick you up from the hotel for your return to Punta Arenas International Airport.
