Predicted Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Buenos Aires:
Upon your arrival in Buenos Aires, a driver will meet you in the disembarkation area, holding a sign with your name, to efficiently and safely transfer you to your hotel located in the heart of Buenos Aires. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore at your leisure.
Day 2 - Walking Tour and Tango Show:
Begin your day with an immersive city walking tour. At 10 am, we depart from our offices to explore the most enchanting and intriguing parts of the city. The tour involves walking and using public transportation to thoroughly visit Centro, San Telmo, La Boca, and Recoleta, concluding around 4:30 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity for photography and discovering areas off the beaten tourist path.
In the evening, between 8 and 8:30 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel for a delightful dinner paired with an unforgettable Tango Show at El Querandí, a renowned tango venue in the San Telmo neighborhood. Enjoy a gourmet three-course meal featuring a selection of traditional dishes and regional wines, followed by a captivating show that showcases the history of Tango with various dance couples and singers. After the show, you will be returned to your hotel around midnight.
Day 3 - Sailing the Tigre:
Your day begins at the boat terminal in the upscale neighborhood of Puerto Madero, where you’ll meet your guide at 09:45 a.m. From there, embark on a cruise through the Río de la Plata and the Delta to admire the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, enjoy a guided bus tour of the main attractions.
Continue with a walking tour of the iconic Puerto de Frutos market. Finally, return to Buenos Aires by train, arriving at the Retiro station where the tour concludes.
Day 4 - Free Day:
This day is at your leisure to choose activities that interest you, or simply to relax and enjoy your hotel.
Day 5 - Arrival in Lima:
Following your flight itinerary, a driver will pick you up at your hotel for the transfer to Ezeiza airport to board your flight. Upon arrival in Lima, your driver will be ready to transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - City Tour and Visit to the Larco Museum
After pickup from your hotel, your tour begins at the spectacular Larco Museum in the traditional Pueblo Libre district.
The Larco Museum features an impressive collection of over 5000 pre-Hispanic ceramic pieces, along with gold and silver artifacts, and pre-Columbian erotic art. You'll explore the museum's galleries in chronological order, learning about the fascinating civilizations of ancient Peru.
The tour continues to the historic center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. This area boasts beautiful squares, colonial mansions, and a rich history. Visit the Casa de Aliaga, a colonial mansion built in 1536, which remains inhabited by descendants of Jerónimo de Aliaga y Ramírez, a Spanish conquistador and ally of Francisco Pizarro.
Proceed to the Plaza de Armas, established in 1535 and the site where Peru’s independence was declared in 1821. View the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Municipal Palace, and other significant colonial-era buildings. Visit the Lima Cathedral, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site, constructed during the 16th-century Spanish conquest.
Conclude the tour with a transfer back to your hotel.
Day 7 - Arrival in Cusco:
Your driver will transport you to the Lima airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, your transportation will take you to your hotel, where you can check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 8 - City Tour and Surrounding Ruins:
We will pick you up from your hotel to begin the tour at the Temple of Coricancha, known as the Golden Temple for its wealth of gold. This iconic site exemplifies the fusion of Inca and Spanish cultures, as the Convent of Santo Domingo was built atop the Inca foundation.
Next, visit the Cusco Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas, showcasing stunning religious art from the Cusco School. It is recognized as a World Cultural Heritage site and a Historical Monument of Peru.
Continue to the Sacsayhuaman archaeological site, known for its massive stone constructions, believed to be built by over 20,000 men over 70 years. Located 2 kilometers from Cusco, this Inca fortress offers breathtaking landscapes and is home to llamas and hawks.
Then, visit the religious center of Qenqo, a site for worshipping gods such as the sun, moon, and earth. Highlights include underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater.
Proceed to the military complex of Puca Pucará, or "Red Fortress," and then visit Tambomachay, known for its aqueducts and waterfalls sourced from nearby springs. The Incas' engineering prowess is evident here.
After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of the afternoon is free, with an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 9 - Machu Picchu by Vistadome Train:
Transfer to the train station for your Vistadome train journey to Aguas Calientes. Along the route, view the suspension bridge marking the start of the Inca Trail.
The journey follows the Urubamba or Vilcanota river, descending into a canyon until reaching Aguas Calientes, located at the base of Machu Picchu. Board minibuses to ascend to the Sacred Citadel of the Incas, "Machu Picchu".
Explore its terraces, passageways, temples, and the sundial or "Intihuatana", along with other sacred sites. In the afternoon, return to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to your hotel.
Day 10 - Pisac Market, Ollantaytambo Fortress, and Chinchero:
Depart from your hotel in Cusco at 07:30 am for a 30 km drive to Pisac, home to a vibrant market and archaeological center offering stunning valley views and terraced landscapes.
Continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch, then proceed to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll explore its temple, a former Inca military, religious, and agricultural hub. The site features impressive valley views and advanced irrigation systems.
Conclude with a visit to Chinchero and its colorful market, offering a variety of crafts like ceramics and traditional Andean textiles. Return to your hotel in Cusco around 6:30 p.m.
Day 11 - Farewell to Cusco:
Depending on your chosen option, you will be transferred to the bus station or to the airport, to continue your journey or return home.
