Our adventure begins at 9 AM at the designated meeting point. From there, we travel to Magiaventura Adventure Park, just 30 minutes from Villa de Leyva’s downtown. At this park, experience thrilling activities that will challenge your bravery and offer breathtaking panoramic views. Start with the aerial bikes, soaring over 35 meters above the ground. This 300-meter roundtrip journey takes you from mountain to mountain, allowing you to take in the stunning scenery surrounding Villa de Leyva. After these adventures, we’ll head to the Blue Wells, one of Villa de Leyva’s most remarkable natural wonders. At 7 PM, regroup at the starting point to begin the evening tour aboard a colorful Chiva, a traditional Colombian bus that will guide us through the historic and cultural highlights of Villa de Leyva’s cobblestone streets and most iconic landmarks.
Our panoramic route starts at the Antonio Nariño Museum and Park, where you’ll discover the life and legacy of one of Colombia’s independence heroes—all from the comfort of the chiva.
We’ll continue to the Royal Liquor Factory, a site steeped in history, where our guide will explain the traditional liquor-making process and its significance in the local economy.
The journey proceeds past the San Agustín Cloister, an impressive colonial structure now home to art exhibits and cultural events. Your guide will share insights into the colonial architecture and the various artistic displays as we admire the cloister from the chiva.
