Rafting Suarez River

We will meet in San Gil, the capital of adventure tourism in Colombia. We will look for you at your accommodation located in a central area around 10 AM and from there, we will depart towards the banks of the Suarez River. During the journey, our guide will share information about the importance of adventure tourism in the region and how it has contributed to local development.

Upon reaching the Suárez River, our expert rafting team will will receive and prepare you for the exciting day. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment, including life jackets and helmets, and a brief safety briefing before heading downriver. 

The Suárez is not a river with easy water, but with expert driving and the presence of the experienced safety kayak who will lead the way, anyone with swimming skills will be able to fully enjoy this exciting experience. At first, we will enter calm waters, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of the forest and the purity of the natural environment that surrounds us. However,as we enter the bends of the river, the excitement increases. We will face challenging canyons with level IV rapids, where the paddling will be intense and the The speed of the river will infect us with adrenaline and laughter.

We face exciting rapids, like the Labyrinth and Martha`s Tongue listed as Class V and navigate the  legendary fast "La Surprise", famous for its enormous volume and strength.

We will be in the water between 1.5 hours and 3 hours, everything will depend on the levels and flow of the river. 

When we reach the shore, we will be charged with energy and with our hearts full of emotions and unforgettable memories,we will take a break and enjoy a delicious snack with cold beer from the region while we share the best moments of the tour as a group.
