Tour Of The Island By Tourist Train

We will start the activity by meeting at one of the points mentioned above, keep in mind that the main starting point is AnNur Mosque - Church of the Arabs and it is the only ending point. 

Our island tour has two daily departures: Morning shift at 9 AM and Afternoon shift at 2:30 PM. You can choose the departure that is most convenient for you. 

We will tour the Island by tourist train guided by the expert driver who along the way will tell us the best stories of the Islanders. San Andrés is known for its white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs, the island is a paradise for lovers of the sun and the sea. But beyond its scenic beauty, San Andrés has a raizal culture, a unique fusion of African, European and indigenous influences. Stops Included in the tour: 

* Casa Museo: This house is a museum that offers a fascinating insight into the history and culture of San Andrés. Located in a charming colonial house, you will find a varied display of artifacts and historical objects that show life on the island throughout the years.

Immerse yourself in San Andrés`s past, from the time of Spanish colonization to the present. Artifacts include traditional fishing tools, early household utensils, and local art, providing an in-depth understanding of the island`s evolution over time.

• Admission to the House Museum is optional and not included; it is paid directly at the destination in cash. Value per person: $20,000 COP.

* Letters I ❤️ SAI (from the Cove):  This popular photo spot offers a unique opportunity to capture the love for San Andrés in a colorful urban mural. It`s a perfect place to take photos and enjoy the artistic creativity of the island.

Although relatively new compared to other landmarks, the mural reflects the vibrant spirit and cultural identity of San Andrés. It is a contemporary expression of the locals` love and pride for their beautiful island.

• Free stop, you will have time to take your best selfies.

* West View Natural Pool: West View is a must-see destination in San Andrés, known for its impressive natural pool with crystal-clear waters. There you can enjoy activities such as swimming, snorkeling or simply relaxing on the floating platforms.

• Entry to the natural pool is optional and is not included, it is paid directly at the destination in cash. Value per person: $10,000 COP.

* The Street of Palms: This charming street is famous for its alignments of tall palm trees that create a stunning landscape. It is an ideal place to take photos and experience the natural beauty of San Andrés.

The palm trees lining the street are an iconic symbol of the island and have been a distinctive feature of its landscape for decades. Their presence reflects the rich biodiversity and tropical environment of San Andrés.

* San Luis Beaches, Los Charquitos: The beaches of San Luis, especially Los Charquitos, are known for their shallow, crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and relaxing. These beaches have long been places of gathering and recreation for the inhabitants of San Andrés. Their importance is reflected in local traditions; visiting Charquitos will make you feel like a true islander. 

• Free stop, you will have time to take photos, swim and relax for a while on the beach. (approx. 30min)

* Extra Stop:  Blowhole: The Blowhole is a natural phenomenon where water is expelled through a hole in the rock, creating an impressive spectacle. There, the wonders of nature will leave you breathless. 

• This stop is only available when the hole is blowing. Admission to the natural attraction is optional and not included; it is paid directly at the destination in cash. Value for every three people in the same family group: $25,000 COP.

After a 4-hour tour of the island, we will finish at the main meeting point: An Nur Mosque - Church of the Arabs.
