Tour Description

Today, let's explore the ultimate trilogy within Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park: the adventure of Osorno Volcano, the stunning Petrohué Falls, and the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Todos los Santos Lake.

Our journey kicks off as we depart from your hotel in Puerto Montt around 8:30 a.m. or from Puerto Varas at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Upon arriving in Puerto Varas, famously known as the "City of Roses", our tour begins at 9:10 a.m. We will circle Lake Llanquihue, capturing breathtaking images of the snow-capped Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes until we reach the Ensenada sector.

From Ensenada, we embark on an ascent to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, situated at an elevation of 1,240 meters. Here, you'll have roughly an hour to soak in the vistas, snap photos, and admire the unparalleled views of the volcanic summits adorned with snow-capped glaciers, Calbuco Volcano, Lake Llanquihue, and the Pacific Ocean.

For those interested, there's an option to enjoy a coffee or sandwich at the onsite café or take the lifts to either 1,450 meters at the Spring Station or 1,750 meters at the Glacier Station, where you can relish an awe-inspiring view of Lake Llanquihue.

At 11:45 a.m., we'll commence our descent back to the Ensenada sector, where you'll have the opportunity to savor a delightful lunch amidst a natural setting (not included).

Our next destination, at approximately 2:00 p.m., is the Petrohué Falls. After paying the National Park entrance fee, you'll be able to witness one of the area’s most iconic sights: the Petrohué Falls Viewpoint. This spot showcases the Petrohué River as it cascades between massive formations of crystallized lava that have resisted erosion for centuries, comprised of smaller stones bound by a distinct glassy material. This segment of the tour lasts about 30 minutes.

At 3:00 p.m., we will proceed to Petrohué Port, perched on the shores of Lake Todos los Santos. During this segment, you have the option of embarking on a 30-minute cruise around the lake bay (not included) or taking a leisurely stroll along the lake’s edge, all enveloped by lush evergreen forests, the grandeur of Osorno Volcano, and the enchanting turquoise hue of the Petrohué River.

Finally, at 5:30 p.m., we will return to the hotel, enriched with unforgettable memories of stunning landscapes and a deep connection with nature.
