We invite you on a fascinating journey very close to the city of Pucón, to the impressive Volcanic Caves, an underground wonder that will take us through hidden passages and astonishing geological formations.
We will pick you up at the agreed-upon time at your hotel in the city of Pucón to head off on this adventure. About 15 km away, we`ll find this underground wonder hidden in the earth that will surprise us.
As we delve deeper into the caves, we`ll find ourselves surrounded by unique geological formations, stalactites and stalagmites that have taken thousands of years to form. The silence and mysterious atmosphere will transport you to another world.
We will begin this interesting visit that will give us an insight into the Volcanology and geomorphology of the area. What we will see here is a lava tunnel located 200 meters deep and 650 meters long, formed by one of the countless eruptions that have occurred at the Villarrica volcano over time.
Also, we will visit the House of Volcanoes, where a photographic sequence of the six most iconic eruptions is displayed. There are also seismographs and other instruments that allow the detection of volcanic activity.
