Descripción del Tour
The journey kicks off with a convenient transfer from Ushuaia hotels to the "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli" Tourist Port, where we’ll board our vessel. As we depart from the shore, we’ll be treated to stunning panoramic vistas of the entire city and its notable landmarks, along with a breathtaking blend of sea and mountains, featuring the majestic Mount Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel, and the Encajonado River.
Our next stop is the Bridges Islands, where we’ll disembark for a leisurely stroll. On this island situated in the heart of the Beagle Channel, we aim to explore the following highlights:
- Yámanas Shell Farm: Near the dock, we’ll discover archaeological remnants of the Yámanas or Yaganes settlements, the original inhabitants of the Beagle Channel. Through our guide's narratives, we will delve into their world and envision their way of life.
- Interpretation of the island’s flora: We’ll wander along the interpretive circuit to appreciate the unique plants, flowers, and fruits within this special ecosystem.
We will reboard and navigate southwest towards Isla de Los Lobos. From our vessel, we’ll observe these delightful marine mammals in their natural setting, spending approximately 20 minutes watching the sea lions.
Our voyage continues to Bird Island, a natural haven for Magellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants. Here, we’ll have the perfect vantage point to observe these marine birds.
The excursion proceeds to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in its namesake archipelago, where the remains of the Monte Cervantes ship, which sank in 1930, can be seen.
If photography is your passion, fret not! The catamaran will pause at key points of interest and make several rotations, allowing passengers to capture the finest photos of the scenery.
We will start our return to Ushuaia via Paso Chico, taking in the views of Estancias Túnel and Fique. Passengers will relish the splendid sight of the city from Monte Martial and its glacier.
