Tour Description
We will be picked up by our selected hotels in the center of Rosario to begin our city tour, which will last 3 hours.
Our first stop will be at the National Flag Monument , created by the architects Alejandro Bustillo and Angel Francisco Guido, and the sculptors Alfredo Bigatti and Jose Fioravanti. This work is a sculptural ensemble that symbolizes the ship of the Homeland furrowing the waters of the sea of eternity in search of a glorious destination.
Then, we will continue towards the Shrine Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary. This minor basilica is dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosary. It was built in 1731, and its main altar is Carrara marble.
After knowing the emblematic cathedral of Rosario, we will continue to the Plaza 25 de Mayo, whose name refers to the date of the May Revolution (May 25, 1810), which led to the establishment of the first Argentine local government in Buenos Aires.
We will continue our visit to the Teatro el Círculo, one of the main opera houses in the city of Rosario that stands out for the acoustic condition of its main hall and its capacity for 1500 people.
Continuing the tour, we will pass through the Paseo del Siglo, a part of the historic center of the city of Rosario and visit the Bolsa de Comercio, founded on August 18 of 1884, as a non-profit civil association.
We will also visit the Boulevard Oroño with its famous mansions and buildings from the late 19th century, a nice place to walk and appreciate its architecture. We will continue our journey towards the Museum of Fine Arts Juan B.Castagnino, a donation to the municipality of Rosario of Mrs. Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino in memory of her last son, Juan Bautista Castagnino, an important painter, art critic and collector Rosario.
Our next stop will be at the Parque España, a large area adjacent to the coastal line of the Paraná Canyon. We will continue through the Parque Independencia, the first park in the city, opened on January 1, 1902.
Finally, after walking around the city for 3 hours, we leave you at your hotels in the center of Rosario or the restaurant if you chose the City Tour with Lunch.
