Tour Description

We will be collected from our chosen hotels in the heart of Rosario to embark on our city tour, which spans 3 hours.

Our journey begins at the National Flag Monument, crafted by architects Alejandro Bustillo and Angel Francisco Guido, alongside sculptors Alfredo Bigatti and Jose Fioravanti. This masterpiece serves as a sculptural ensemble, representing the Homeland's ship navigating the eternal seas towards a glorious destiny.

Next, we will proceed to the Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary. Dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosary, this minor basilica was erected in 1731 and features a main altar made of Carrara marble.

After exploring Rosario's iconic cathedral, our tour continues to Plaza 25 de Mayo, named in honor of the May Revolution's date (May 25, 1810), which marked the establishment of Argentina's first local government in Buenos Aires.

Our visit extends to the Teatro el Círculo, a prominent opera house in Rosario, renowned for the acoustics of its main hall and its seating capacity for 1500 attendees.

As the tour progresses, we will traverse the Paseo del Siglo, part of Rosario's historic center, and visit the Bolsa de Comercio, founded on August 18, 1884, as a non-profit civil association.

Our exploration continues with a visit to Boulevard Oroño, famed for its grand mansions and late 19th-century structures, offering a delightful walk to admire its architecture. We will then proceed to the Museum of Fine Arts Juan B. Castagnino, generously donated to the municipality of Rosario by Mrs. Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino in memory of her late son, Juan Bautista Castagnino, a notable painter, art critic, and collector from Rosario.

Our next destination is Parque España, a vast area adjacent to the Paraná Canyon's coastal line. We will journey through Parque Independencia, the city's first park, inaugurated on January 1, 1902.

Finally, after a 3-hour exploration of the city, we will drop you off at your hotels in central Rosario or at the restaurant if you opted for the City Tour with Lunch.
