Tour Description

Our journey kicks off in Purmamarca, where we'll meet you at a prearranged location. The adventure begins as we ascend National Route 9, immersing ourselves in the distinctive Andean landscapes.
We will make a short stop in Tilcara, giving you the opportunity to explore the Pucará de Tilcara, an ancient pre-Incan fortress (entrance not included).
Our next destination is Humahuaca, where we'll delve into its historic center, visit the church, and admire the Independence Monument. Here, you will have free time to savor lunch and experience the local culinary delights.
After our free time, we'll ascend in 4x4 vehicles from Humahuaca to the Serranía de Hornocal viewpoint, situated 25 km away at an elevation of 4,761 meters above sea level. This spot offers the chance to marvel at the spectacular multicolored formations, capture unforgettable photographs, and enjoy the panoramic views at this altitude.
On our return, we will stop in Uquía, renowned for its San Francisco de Paula Church, which is home to paintings of the Archabuceros Angels.
We will pass through Huacalera, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, marked by a striking monolith.
