Our journey begins with a departure from Mendoza to the town of Potrerillos, where we'll navigate the waters of this significant river, known for its high volume and world-class rapids ranging from levels II to III. These rapids are suitable for adventurers of all skill levels, making prior rafting experience unnecessary.
Choose from a half-day excursion, covering 12 km of river during the summer and 8 km in the winter from Campamento Los Árboles, or opt for the full-day excursion which includes a box lunch and offers an extensive 30-kilometer journey downstream from Cerro Negro, available only in summer.

The Rafting Adventure on the Mendoza River commences at 11:00 am, but hotel pickup from the central area of Mendoza will begin at 9:00 am.
We will depart from Mendoza's capital, heading west towards Potrerillos, where our base is situated.
Upon arriving in Potrerillos, depending on your selected option, we will travel upriver in vehicles to the activity's starting point. There, we will receive a safety briefing, learn basic maneuvers, get acquainted with the rafts, and understand teamwork dynamics. The Mendoza River presents a thrilling challenge, yet with expert guides and a safety kayak leading the way, anyone who can swim will relish this adventure.
After receiving the instructions and safety gear (wetsuits, life jackets, helmets, and paddles), we will be all set to navigate the Mendoza River's waters. This exhilarating experience will have us conquering the most demanding and thrilling rapids, with the raft vigorously moving as water splashes from every direction. Once the adrenaline-filled journey concludes, we'll return to the base, where we can change clothes and unwind.
* For those opting for the half-day excursion, the starting point will be Campamento los Árboles. We will cover 12 km of river (in summer) or 8 km in winter, tackling class II and III rapids in about an hour. After changing, we will head back to Mendoza, concluding the service with a hotel drop-off.
* If you have chosen the full-day experience, available during the summer, the starting point will be Cerro Negro. Expect 3.30 hours of rafting over 30 km down the river, navigating level III and III+ rapids. After changing, you will enjoy leisure time and a box lunch by the riverbank. We will return to Mendoza via the same route, ending the service with a hotel drop-off at approximately 7:00 pm.
