On this High Mountain tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore the diverse palette of colors and geological formations that this stunning region of Mendoza presents.
We commence the excursion by picking up guests from their hotels in Mendoza city. Our journey then takes us to Uspallata via the international route.
We will explore the majestic Cordón del Plata mountain range and visit the Potrerillos Dam, an engineering marvel that produces energy and supplies water for irrigation. Our itinerary includes the region of Uspallata, a historical pre-Hispanic settlement and the southernmost frontier of the Inca Empire.
As we travel along the national route, we will pause at the Puente del Inca, an astonishing natural bridge designated as a Natural Monument.
We'll ascend to the Cerro Aconcagua Viewpoint, where you can enjoy views of the Horcones Lagoon. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Monument to Christ the Redeemer, a symbol of unity between Argentina and Chile, located on the border with Chile.

Around 7:30 AM, we will be picked up from our designated hotels to embark on our journey to Uspallata. As we travel alongside the Mendoza River, we'll take in the stunning views of the Cordón del Plata and the Potrerillos Dam.
Upon reaching Uspallata, we'll make our first stop. Here, we will encounter a pre-Hispanic settlement of Huarpes natives and the southernmost boundary of the Inca empire. Our visit will include the Villas of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas.
Next, we'll proceed to the Cerro Aconcagua Viewpoint, situated within the provincial park that safeguards this region. On our way, we won't miss the impressive Inca Bridge, a natural marvel featuring hot springs. Following this, we'll head to Penitentes, a village located merely 4km from Cerro Aconcagua, the tallest peak in the Americas, renowned for its expansive ski resort infrastructure in Mendoza. Our journey will culminate at Villa Las Cuevas, situated at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level.
Between Villa Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, we will find the route that leads to the Christ the Redeemer monument, a symbol of unity between Argentina and Chile. Access to this monument is available only during the summer months.
After our visit, we will head back to our selected hotels in Mendoza, arriving at approximately 5:30 PM. During the summer, if we ascend to Christ the Redeemer, the excursion will conclude around 8:00 PM.
