You cannot miss out on this excursion that explores one of the most breathtaking and unparalleled destinations in Patagonia: the Marble Chapels.

Situated in the Aysen region of Chilean Patagonia, this Nature Sanctuary features rock formations sculpted by the waves of General Carrera Lake, resulting in awe-inspiring caves crafted from white and turquoise marbles.

After traversing the most picturesque routes that cut across the Andes, we will embark on a navigation of General Carrera Lake to admire these stunning formations.

The Navigation to the Marble Chapels is an unforgettable excursion on your journey through Patagonia.

Tour Description

Early in the morning, we will be collected from our selected hotels in a comfortable minibus, heading towards the Chilean border, merely 12 km away from Los Antiguos.

Our journey will take us along a remarkably scenic route running alongside the southern shore of the lake and adjacent to the Northern Ice Field. This road, established in the 1990s, replaced the former necessity of navigation as the sole access method.

As we travel westward, we'll encounter lush forest vegetation due to the area’s higher rainfall. In this sparsely inhabited region, we will embark on a boat excursion to the Marble Chapels (optional kayak navigation, not included in the itinerary).

Here, we will witness a distinctive regional marvel: the spectacular chapels, carved and smoothed by the lake's waters, have formed uniquely attractive caves.

Following our sailing adventure, we will savor a delicious lunch at Costa del Lago, returning to Los Antiguos to reach our selected hotels by approximately 8 PM.
