This half-day excursion will take you to the heart of the Selva Misionera, an exceptional ecosystem, with its numerous plants and local bird species, all in an exclusive service in small groups to guarantee you quality and comfort. 

Together with our guides certified, you will go Trekking in the jungle, followed by a Canopy experience from the top of the trees, to finish the tour with treetop activities. These 3 activities will allow you to discover and observe the local fauna and special phenomena.

Depending on the option selected, we will pick you up at your hotel in the morning or afternoon and aboard a 4x4 Movitrack vehicle we will head towards a protected reserve located just 5 kilometers from the center of the city of Iguazu. 

In the Reserve, we can enjoy the Missionary Rainforest admiring some of its 2,000 pristine plant species, the possibility of sighting the rich birdlife of the region, more than 400 species of birds, highlighting toucans, trogons, owls, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, magpies and others; the abundant native fauna and the varied ichthyofauna of the Iguazu and Paraná Rivers offer phenomena such as natural museums, sanctuaries of flora, where legendary palm groves, giant ferns and bamboo canes have reached the heights of the most important trees of the interior Atlantic forest. 

The enviable and natural topography of the terrain makes the place an ecological luxury, where nature has designed a paradisiacal site, where we will go for a half-day adventure. The first activity will be an interpretive trek of the native flora of Paraná, approximately 2 km long. 

This walk will take us along narrow paths, covered with fallen leaves, herbaceous ferns, philodendrons, vines, carnations, lichens and mosses. During the walk, we will have the opportunity to observe the diversity of local species, colorful inflorescences, accompanied by the permanent chirping of birds. 

At the end of the trek, we will reach the middle jump (12 meters high), where we will do the canopy/zip line activity where we will feel like half bird, half man as we move between the tops of the most important trees in the jungle. 

The activity consists of sliding from one tree to another, hanging from a harness on double-pointed steel cables, strategically attached to the trees with biocompatible elements without damaging their bark, and as the only link, the wooden platforms attached to the thick, old trees. The total distance is 200 meters.

From above, you can see the jungle biome. Finally, on the way down to the Paraná ravine, we will practice tree climbing, moving on hanging bridges built between the trees in a way that does not disturb nature.  

After a unique experience full of discoveries and surprises of nature, we will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
