Based on the selected option, we will collect you from your hotel either in the morning or afternoon. You'll board a 4x4 Movitrack vehicle as we journey to a protected reserve located merely 5 kilometers from the heart of Iguazu.
Within the Reserve, you can immerse yourself in the Missionary Rainforest, marveling at its 2,000 untouched plant species. There's an excellent opportunity for birdwatching in this region, home to over 400 bird species, including toucans, trogons, owls, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and magpies. The abundant native wildlife and diverse ichthyofauna of the Iguazu and Paraná Rivers present natural wonders akin to museums, with flora sanctuaries where legendary palm groves, towering ferns, and bamboo canes reach the heights of significant trees in the interior Atlantic forest.
The remarkable natural topography of the area offers an ecological luxury, crafted by nature into a paradisiacal site, perfect for a half-day adventure. Our first activity is an interpretive trek through the native flora of Paraná, approximately 2 km in length.
This trek will lead us through narrow trails blanketed with fallen leaves, herbaceous ferns, philodendrons, vines, carnations, lichens, and mosses. As we walk, we’ll have the chance to observe a wide variety of local species and vibrant inflorescences, all accompanied by the continuous songs of birds.
Upon completing the trek, we will arrive at the middle jump, which stands 12 meters high, where we will engage in a canopy/zip line activity. Here, you’ll experience the sensation of being half bird, half human, as you glide between the tops of the jungle's tallest trees.
This activity involves gliding from one tree to another while suspended from a harness on double-pointed steel cables, carefully attached to the trees using biocompatible materials that protect their bark, with wooden platforms affixed to the sturdy, ancient trees as the only connection. The total span is 200 meters.
From above, you can witness the jungle biome. Finally, as we descend to the Paraná ravine, we will practice tree climbing, traversing hanging bridges constructed between the trees in a manner that respects the natural environment.
After this extraordinary experience filled with nature's discoveries and surprises, we will return you to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
