We depart El Chaltén by bus, embarking on a 36 km journey to Lago del Desierto. This scenic route offers breathtaking views, weaving through lush forests and skirting the Río de las Vueltas.

Upon reaching the Punta Sur pier, we set sail for approximately 30 minutes, observing the Huemul and Crestón glaciers before docking at the Vespignani Glacier area, nestled in the heart of the lake.
Once ashore, the trekking adventure begins under the guidance of an experienced activity leader to ensure your safety. Participants can select from one of the three well-marked trails within the Vespignani Glacier Reserve, according to their preferred difficulty level and exertion.

Alternatively, the intermediate trail offers a gentle and steady ascent, leading to a spectacular viewpoint of the Glacier in just 15 minutes. After enjoying a farewell snack, we board the boat again to return to the Punta Sur pier. From there, the bus takes us back to El Chaltén, concluding our adventure.
