Our tour kicks off with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in the city center at 8:30 a.m., heading towards an authentic Central European village nestled in the heart of the Sierras Cordobesas. Throughout the journey, we'll be treated to panoramic vistas and stunning landscapes featuring forests and mountains in the Calamuchita Valley.
On our way, we'll pass through the charming towns of Alta Gracia, La Bolsa, Villa los Aromos, La Serranita, and Villa Ciudad de América before arriving at our first highlight: the Los Molinos Lake Reservoir. Here, you'll have the chance to soak in its breathtaking view, and just a few meters ahead, we’ll take a brief stop to admire the stunning scenery of the reservoir, Champaqui Hill, and Black Hill.
Our journey continues through the magnificent Sierras Grandes until we reach La Cumbrecita, the nation’s sole pedestrian town situated 1450 meters above sea level, and recognized as a multipurpose reserve. In this enchanting area, we’ll traverse the traditional circuit, allowing us to explore the Olla, the Ecumenical Church, the Waterfall, and the "The Wooden Sculptures" circuit. It feels as if you’ve stepped into a fairy-tale village.
Around noon, you'll have free time for lunch (lunch not included), offering you the choice to savor local dishes or enjoy a picnic by the banks of the Rio del Medio.
Post lunch, we’ll regroup at the village entrance to proceed to Villa General Belgrano. This city emerged from the blend of immigrants and locals, and is famed for its German cuisine, its Tyrolean architectural style, and its craft beer production. We'll spend around an hour here, exploring its quaint streets and alleyways, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local craft beer brewery or a chocolate factory.
Finally, after a fulfilling 10-hour day, we’ll head back to the city and ensure you’re comfortably returned to your downtown hotel.
