The tour continues to the Temple of Liberty, the Synagogue of the Israelite Congregation of the Argentine Republic (CIR). This is the largest and most historic Jewish temple in the country, and it was recognized as a National Historic Monument in 2000.
Next on our itinerary is a visit to the vibrant hub of daily Jewish life in Argentina: the (Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina). This new center serves as the headquarters of the Jewish Community in Argentina, facilitating various activities essential for maintaining Jewish traditions. We'll delve into its roles, initiatives, and rich history, which holds significant importance for all Argentinians.
Our final highlight is a visit to the quintessential Porteño neighborhood, home to a large portion of the Jewish community. Here, you can explore synagogues, restaurants, and markets belonging to community members. One notable site is the Paso Temple, a popular and frequently visited synagogue in Buenos Aires.
