This excursion kicks off at 7 am, approximately, from the Port of Buenos Aires. Around an hour and a half later, the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento sets sail. Departing at approximately 8:30 a.m., you'll be treated to stunning views of Buenos Aires as the ferry pulls away from the shore, and you'll have access to all the ferry amenities during your journey.
After roughly an hour of travel, we will arrive at Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. From there, we'll make our way to the city's Historic Quarter for a guided walking tour led by a local expert. As we stroll through the charming cobblestone streets, the guide will share insights into the rich history of this city, and we'll explore landmarks such as the Portón de Campo, the Street of Sighs, the Lighthouse, and more.
Following the guided tour of the Historic District, we'll head to El Refugio restaurant for lunch. While drinks are not included, you'll enjoy a delicious meal.
Post-lunch, you'll have free time to wander around the city. Admire the vibrant houses, their unique facades, and the traditional lanterns. Get lost in the cobblestone streets and take in the beauty of every corner.
The return ferry departs from the port of Colonia to the Buenos Aires port at 6 pm, so please ensure you arrive at the Colonia port an hour and a half beforehand.
Once on board, we'll head back to Buenos Aires, arriving in approximately an hour, concluding the full-day excursion to Colonia del Sacramento.
