Snowboarding Day At Cerro Catedral

Discover the excitement of snowboarding at the most emblematic ski resort in Latin America, with everything ready for your first experience on the board.

In the morning, we will pick you up with our vehicles at the designated meeting points in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. From there we will begin our journey to the majestic Cerro Catedral, the largest winter sports center in South America.

During the tour, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, we will skirt the impressive Lake Nahuel Huapi, enjoying a landscape of snowy forests and mountains that anticipates a unique day.

Once at the base of the hill, we will head to the Travesía Building, in front of the Las Terrazas Shopping Center, where the meeting point is located to pick up passes and equipment. Our team will assist you in delivering the complete snowboard equipment (boots and board) and the thermal clothing included (jacket, pants and helmet).

After getting equipped, we will meet with the certified instructors, who will be in charge of guiding the snowboarding group introduction class, designed especially for those who are new to this sport.

During the 2-hour class, we will learn how to position the board, maintain balance, perform turns and brake safely. The activity takes place in a beginner`s area, with the constant accompaniment of specialized instructors, ensuring a safe and fun experience.

After the class, we will head to one of the hill`s restaurants to enjoy lunch (not included) and rest while contemplating the view of the mountains.

In the afternoon, we will have free time to continue enjoying Cerro Catedral. With the pass included, you can continue practicing on the slopes designated for beginners or take the opportunity to explore the base of the hill, take panoramic photos, visit the mountain refuge, or enjoy a delicious hot chocolate.

At the end of the day, we will meet again at the meeting point and return to Bariloche, with our hearts full of excitement and a new passion for the snow.
