Snowboarding Day At Cerro Catedral

Experience the thrill of snowboarding at the most iconic ski resort in Latin America, with everything prepared for your very first adventure on the board.

In the morning, our vehicles will pick you up at the designated meeting points in San Carlos de Bariloche. From there, we’ll set off towards the majestic Cerro Catedral, renowned as the largest winter sports center in South America.

The journey takes around 45 minutes, during which we’ll drive alongside the breathtaking Lake Nahuel Huapi, surrounded by snow-covered forests and mountains, setting the stage for a truly memorable day.

Upon arriving at the base, we’ll head to the Travesía Building, right in front of the Las Terrazas Shopping Center, where the meeting point is located to collect your passes and gear. Our team will provide you with the complete snowboard equipment (boots and board) and the thermal clothing included (jacket, pants and helmet).

Once you’re geared up, you’ll meet our certified instructors, who will lead the introductory group snowboarding class, specially designed for beginners.

During the 2-hour lesson, you’ll learn how to position the board, keep your balance, make turns, and brake securely. The session takes place in a beginner-friendly area, with professional instructors always by your side, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

After your lesson, we’ll head to one of the on-mountain restaurants where you can have lunch (not included) and relax while admiring the mountain scenery.

In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to continue exploring Cerro Catedral. With your included pass, you can keep practicing on beginner slopes, explore the mountain base, take panoramic photos, visit the mountain refuge, or savor a delicious hot chocolate.

At the end of the day, we’ll regroup at the meeting point and return to Bariloche, hearts full of excitement and a newfound love for the snow.
