Reserve a half-day private fishing excursion for either fly fishing or spinning, guided by our expert and top local guides who will take you on a floating adventure along the Limay River. This outing accommodates two anglers using Cata-Rafts, boats specially crafted for maneuvering through swift mountain rivers, ideal for reaching fishing spots inaccessible to motorized boats. We'll float approximately 12 km (7 miles) on the Limay River during this half-day journey, allowing you to fish from the boat as we drift and making frequent stops to wade and fish from the banks at prime locations.
As the excursion concludes, our assistant will greet us downstream with trucks and trailers to transport everyone back to their accommodations.
We supply all fishing equipment and gear (including rods, reels, lines, flies, waders, shoes, etc.).
Descripción del Tour
- Fly-fishing: Utilizing a specialized weighted line, “dressed” hooks that mimic insects, minnows, and shrimp are cast using various techniques. While this method requires some practice and patience to perfect a good cast, fly-fishing has been globally popular for a long time and continues to gain popularity. Numerous seasoned anglers visit Patagonia annually from around the globe to practice their craft in these untouched, secluded fishing spots, as do beginners eager to refine their skills.
- Spinning: This method involves casting artificial lures, such as spoons or spinners, with the appropriate rod and reel, suitable for fishing from the shore or boats. We recommend using ultra-light equipment and lures, ideally with single barbless hooks.
