Descripción del Tour:

In the morning, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the designated boarding point of your chosen lake.
Nahuel Huapi is the most significant lake within the National Park, lending its name to the park itself. Vast in both size and depth, it boasts seven distinct arms, each showcasing unique characteristics. It is home to large trout, predominantly rainbow and brown, and to a lesser extent, remarkable brook trout. These sizable trout, though challenging to catch with a fly, present an exciting challenge. We utilize a motorboat for fishing and exploring this expansive lake, employing fly, spinning, or trolling techniques.
Lake Gutierrez is situated 11 km from Bariloche. This lake is an excellent choice for fishing on windy days due to its distinctive location and wind-sheltered bays. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, it offers an ideal fishing spot, with opportunities to catch rainbow, brown, and brook trout.
Lake Moreno is accessible for fishing throughout the year. Located 16 km from downtown Bariloche, it provides excellent fishing conditions for rainbow and brook trout. It is a breathtaking place, featuring magnificent coastal residences set against the majestic backdrop of the Andes Mountains.
Upon reaching the lake’s boarding point, your guide will explain the fishing techniques we suggest for the excursion:
  • Fly Fishing: This involves casting flies—“dressed” hooks—that mimic insects, small fish, shrimp, and more, using a weighted line specifically crafted for this purpose, and employing a precise technique. This method undeniably requires practice and dedication, just to master the art of casting. However, it is increasingly gaining popularity worldwide.
  • Spinning: This technique involves casting and retrieving artificial lures like spoons, which simulate the movement of a small creature in the water, enticing the voracious trout to strike, if we manage to deceive it.
  • Trolling: The Nahuel Huapi National Park is home to numerous idyllic lakes where you can engage in this type of fishing. We tow artificial lures at a slow pace from the motorboat while taking in the spectacular scenery.
The excursion will then commence, navigating Lake Nahuel Huapi, Moreno, or Gutiérrez and fishing using your chosen technique.
After two hours of fishing from the boat, you will arrive at the lakeshore to savor a delightful lunch in nature. Following a relaxing break, you’ll continue floating and fishing throughout the afternoon in the lakes' prime spots.
Always accompanied by your guide, you will delve into the history of the San Carlos de Bariloche region and discover the top fishing options and local fish species.
After covering 12 km, your guide will escort you to the lake departure point, where vehicles await to return you to your hotel.
