The adventure starts around 8 am at Calderón Park, from where we embark on a journey lasting between 40 to 60 minutes to reach Cajas National Park.
Upon arriving at the park, we'll set off on a hike along the designated trails, allowing us to observe and interact with the native flora and fauna.
As we continue, we'll navigate through the marked paths of the Polylepis forest. These unique forests of polylepis trees, also known as queñuas, thrive mainly at high altitudes. These trees are well-adapted to harsh conditions and are distinguished by their slender trunks and twisted branches.
