We will travel aboard the iconic Jeep Willys, affectionately called yipao, a vehicle that made its way to Colombia in 1946. Since then, it has been an indispensable tool for the region's coffee growers, skillfully navigating the rugged paths that link the crops with the town, and is capable of transporting over 600 kilos per journey.
Upon our arrival at the farm, we'll receive an introduction to the origin of coffee, unveiling the story behind each bean and how this area has emerged as a global benchmark in the production of premium coffee.
We'll embark on a comprehensive tour of the plantation, exploring the different stages of the coffee production process, from planting to preparation. We'll gain firsthand experience with traditional practices, engaging in the harvesting, pulping, drying, threshing, roasting, and grinding.
