Today promises an exhilarating adventure set against the breathtaking backdrop of the world's driest desert. Our journey kicks off from the hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. (please note that this time will be confirmed in advance, as it may vary with the seasons).
Our first destination is Yerbas Buenas, where we'll witness stunning vistas of the Domeyko Mountain Range, the Salt Mountain Range, and the majestic Andes Mountain Range.
Yerbas Buenas is renowned for hosting the highest concentration of rock art in the Atacama Desert, allowing us to marvel at petroglyphs that are up to 6,000 years old.
We will enjoy breakfast at a picturesque spot chosen by our guide, surrounded by these captivating landscapes.
Our adventure continues as we delve deeper into the Rainbow Valley, also known as Mars Valley. This remarkable valley is located about 90 km north of San Pedro, nestled within the Domeyko Mountain Range.

After immersing ourselves in this extraordinary scenery, we will proceed to Río Grande, a quaint town known for its artisans and farmers. Here, we'll have time to explore and visit local markets.
We will then return to San Pedro, where we’ll drop you off near the municipal parking lot. From there, you can explore the town further or make your way back to the hotel independently. Should you prefer a private service, we can arrange to drop you off at your hotel.
