Tour Description
Our journey kicks off with hotel pickups starting at 07:30 AM, leading us to the upper city, where you'll find stunning 16th-century architecture, including the São Benedito Church, the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Pena, and Igreja da Misericórdia.
Discover the remnants of the first Jesuit college in Brazil and visit the Paço Municipal, which once served as a prison. Today, its lower section hosts a museum exhibiting 17th and 18th-century artifacts and furniture, while the upper section functions as the mayor's office.
We conclude our tour by visiting the landmark commemorating the Brazilian lands claimed by Gonçalo Coelho in 1503. Following this enriching historical experience, and depending on the schedule, we proceed to the beach at Coroa Vermelha (destination subject to schedule) for a refreshing swim.
