The tour sets off at around 8:30 AM from your hotel located in the heart of Ushuaia. From there, we will journey to the Tierra Mayor Valley, where our trek to the Esmeralda Lagoon will commence.
On this adventure, we will embark on a guided hike through the enchanting Fuegian forests, passing by lakes, rivers, and the breathtaking Andes Mountains landscape, until we reach the Laguna Esmeralda, renowned for its glacial origins. The lagoon's name is inspired by the vibrant color of sediments from the Ojo de Albino Glacier. Here, we can pause to soak in the stunning scenery and capture memorable photographs.
Additionally, we will have the opportunity to explore the beaver dams, a fascinating system constructed by beavers over the stream, giving the area its name.
After approximately 3 hours of walking, we will arrive at a forest refuge, where we will savor a delicious box lunch as detailed in see menu.
By around 3:00 PM, we will return to our accommodation in the city center.
