Tour Description
At 8:30 AM, we will depart from our selected hotels in Tucumán, heading first to the Chapel and Jesuit Convent San José de Lules. Here, you can still admire the original chapel and cloister, which remain well-preserved.
We will then proceed along Route 307, which leads us up into the Valleys. Our journey will take us through the Quebrada del Río Los Sosa, a segment of the Natural Reserve sharing its name. As we travel, the enchanting forest will captivate you, inviting a brief pause to take it all in.
Continuing our journey, we will pass by the Monument "El Indio". As we ascend further, we will approach the entrance to the Tafi Valley, which is nothing short of breathtaking! Circling the La Angostura reservoir, we will pay a visit to the menhirs in El Mollar. Our adventure then leads us to the Jesuit Ensemble of La Banda, with its oldest section constructed by the Jesuits in the early 18th century.
Here, you will have some free time for lunch (lunch not included). We will retrace our route to reach a viewpoint offering the most spectacular views of the valley. After soaking in the stunning landscape, our journey will bring us back to Tucumán, with a stop at the Atahualpa Museum before concluding the tour.
