Tour Description
At the designated time, we will depart from our selected hotels to explore the city of La Punta. Established in March 2003, this city is a blend of art, modernity, technology, and nature. Our visit will include the Data Center (recognized as the most advanced in Latin America), the Astronomical Park complex, and a recreation of the Cabildo de Buenos Aires featuring its original 1810 appearance.
Next, we will journey through Suyuque, home to the Convent of the Benedictine Sisters of Our Lady of Faithfulness. Here, we'll pause to take in the stunning views from its scenic mountain-top viewpoint. Visitors also have the opportunity to purchase artisanal dulce de leche and delectable fruits crafted by the resident nuns.
Our excursion will also take us to Villa de La Quebrada, renowned for the Feast of Christ of La Quebrada on May 3. The chapel, renovated by Bishop Monsignor Di Pasquo, features a life-size Via Crucis de Marble de Carrara. This remarkable piece, created by Italian artist Nicolás Arrighin, was unveiled on May 3, 1951.
After our visit to Villa de La Quebrada, we will return to our selected hotels in San Luis.
