Tour Description

Our journey will begin in Esquel, where we'll embark on the National Route No. 259 before transitioning to Provincial Route No. 17. After passing through Trevelin, we will cover over 90 kilometers to reach the Corcovado River.

Upon arrival at the riverbank, two seasoned guides will accompany and lead us . We will partake in a safety briefing, learn basic paddling techniques, and engage in raft recognition and teamwork exercises. The Corcovado River is challenging, but with skilled guidance and safety kayaking, anyone who can swim will find this experience enjoyable.

After each participant is equipped with safety gear, including neoprene suits, life jackets, helmets, and paddles, we'll rehearse the final movements and embark on our adventure.
Initially, the waters will be calm, allowing us to appreciate the surrounding forest and pristine environment. As we navigate the river's curves, the excitement builds, and we delve into canyons with rapids ranging from Level II to III. The paddling becomes vigorous, and the swift river fills us with adrenaline and laughter.

For those opting for the half-day excursion, the activity will commence in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. We will journey for two hours, covering 12 kilometers of the Corcovado's crystal clear waters. The river's flow peaks in the summer due to mountain runoff, and the southern winds often intensify, creating exhilarating rapids.

If you desire a more intense experience and select the full-day option, the adventure starts at 9 a.m. We will traverse a total of 17 kilometers along the river, pausing in serene areas to enjoy the natural pools, drift with the current, and perhaps even leap from the surrounding rocks reaching heights of up to 5 meters, before savoring a delightful lunch by the riverbank.

We will conclude the activity by changing into our dry clothes and returning to Esquel in vehicles filled with good vibes. The service will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.
